Kathryn's Day 5 Challenge

For Kathryn's Day 5 challenge she focused on one 4" x 6" photo.  After looking through my stacks of photos  I came across this one of my daughter in 2011.  She is so cute but SO looks up to no good!  Here is the sketch and my layout:

Kathryn's Day 4 Challenge

For Day 4 of Kathryn's Challenge she used 3 photographs, one landscape and 2 vertical. I had so much fun scrapping these photos and remembering my daughter at this age.  Although she looks like she is having fun she really hated the rides at Canobie Lake Park and I think those two were the only rides she actually went on by herself.  The fire truck photo makes me laugh because she was putting her arms out saying "All done!" after only one spin around! LOL!  Here is Kathryn's sketch and my take on it:

Kathryn's Day 2 Challenge

For Day 2 of Kathryn's layout week she created a sketch that used only 6" x 6" papers.  Although I have loads of these smaller pads I usually only use them for cards or mini albums so this was a challenge for me as my experience would have led me to 12" x 12" papers.  I'm glad I played along, because the layout came out great and now I know I can use those smaller pads in my scrapbooking too!  Here is my take on her sketch:

Kathryn's Day 1 Challenge!

Hello!

Kathryn over at "The Scrapbeach" (Or "Kathryn Scraps") is having a layout week where she posts a new layout each day along with a sketch, video and prize to be won for following the sketch!  I have been slacking on my scrapbooking and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get back into it.  Here is her day one project: The Day I Met You.  And here is my take on her sketch:

What do you think?  This is from Halloween last year.  The cutie in the blue Fairy costume is my daughter, Danika! :)

Hello!  Did you come from Becky's Blog?  If so, thank you so much for stopping by.  If not, you should read the touching story of how Becky Higgins (creator of Project Life) is trying to help her brother Jonathan's family during this incredibly hard time.

Feel free to look around my blog (even though I have been really bad about keeping it up to date lately) or browse my Close To My Heart site. Maybe you can find some things to add to your Project Life Kits! Or maybe you just want to treat yourself to some new stamps and scrapbooking supplies! :)  In addition to the donation I gave for the ad on Becky's blog, 10% of my total sales (before tax and shipping) during September and October will also be given to Jonathan.  So how about helping them out a little.... every penny counts! Go here to start shopping now!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by!
